Namibia has a long finger of land called the Caprivi Strip, which is pointing east.
Much of dry Botswana is in the Kalahari desert, and the country does not border any oceans.
Zimbabwe is bordered on the north by the Zambezi river, and two large lakes.
Zambia is the only country we visited that does not have a border touching South Africa.
Tiny Lesotho is completely surrounded by just one country--South Africa. |
