During our World Bicycle Tour we spend three months in Nepal. We hike for thirty-two days to Mount Everest base camp on the Khumbu glacier, and climb 18,450-foot Kala Patar for photos of Mount Everest.

We are so exited about seeing Everest we hike five days into a neighboring valley and climb another 18,000-foot peak, also named Kala Patar. Here, in Gokyo Valley, we get our second and favorite view of 29,035-foot Mount Everest.
