Mexico borders the United States and has a large finger of land called Baja Pennisula.
Panama is the narrowest country in Central America and is famous for a canal which connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Nicaragua has the largest lake in Central America, Lake Nicaragua.
Costa Rica is between Panama and Nicaragua.
Tiny Belize is on the Caribbean Ocean and is known for its huge coral reef.
El Salvador is not quite as small as Belize, and is on the Pacific side of Central America.
Guatemala borders four other countries and is famous as the homeland of the Mayan Indians.
Honduras borders Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala.
Cuba is not in Central America, but is on the map.
