This state is one of the best places in the U.S. to see wild horses, which are also called mustangs.
We mountain bike on a network of trails made by mustangs and burros. Although they are wild, they often let us get very close. Sometimes we see ten or twelve horses on just one ride.

Suprisingly, we are just 20 minutes from a city that is famous for bright lights and gambling.
We spend a week here giving slide programs. During our days off we camp outside of town, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Our favorite activity here is climbing in Red Rock park on the enormous sandstone walls, just a short distance from the city. |
